E-GOVERNANCE is known as electronic governance. it is the application of it for delivering government services exchange of information communicating transactions integration of various standard alone system between government. 
It is a service of government to Citizen government to government and mini other which link ups through electronic media. 

History of the E-GOVERNANCE 

Its origin in India during 1970 with a famous line in-house government applications in the areas of Defence economic monitoring them. 

Benefits of the E-GOVERNANCE

You governance refers to use of information in public administration which when combined with organisations change and new skills are intended to improve public services. Government has many platforms like India initiate , National portal of India ,Pradhan Mantri of India portal all the and many other digital platforms which are linked up with governance.it also saves the cost and technical issues.

Its main Moto is to provide better services  to citizens of India and doing their work at ease with a speed using this technology and it must has transparency and accountability and also its it has to empower youth through information technology. 
In promoting the E-GOVERNANCE in India we will eliminate the most difficult hurdles in India like corruption.and
breakdowns the the participation of of face-to-face contacts with individuals and also it elements that party options. And also to safe gaurd from cybercrimes.

Its main disadvantages is the youth in India is not acknowledged about the technology .they don't even know how to use this technology and also they will be absence of public internet access . 

The government should make awareness about the technology and they need to setup this technology setups in the remote areas in which they can be e updated through Technology. This should be done in remote areas.
