Recently the central government has introduced the new education policy 2020 in the new system of education. 

A combination of self assessment by the teacher ,Peer assessment and teacher assessment will be followed the national education policy seeks to equip students passing out from great 12 at least one core skill. 


New structure of Curriculum structure of 5 + 3 + 3 + 4,

Under the new system there will be for development stages they are, 

- foundational for three years (anganvadi for preschool aur Bal Vatika from Age 3 to 6 ). And two years of class 1 and 2 up to age 6 + 8years.
- in the middle for three years from class 6 to 8 from age 11 to 14 years. 
- secondary is for four years from 19 12 class and of age 14 to 18 years. 



What is the three language formula, 

The new education policy recommends That All students will learn three languages in their schools .
under the formula at least two of the three languages should be native of school. 

Will there be any changes in board exams pattern, 

Board exams will continue for 10 and 12 but the question papers will have more number of objective type questions and Resigned with Holistic development as the aim. A new National assessment centre (PARAKHNE) will be set up as a standard setting body. 

 The criteria will be followed for admission in higher education institutes, 

After grade 12 The NTA will conduct a single entrance examination for admission into higher educational institutions in country .
here NTA mean national testing agency.

The changes have been done under UG courses are, 

Under the new UG courses format options have been given that include certificate after 1 year advanced diploma after 2 years .bachelor degree after 3 years and bachelor with research after four years. 

What does multiple entry and exit for UG courses mean, 

If student chooses to exit from the degree at any point during the course of the period they have the option to return and start where they left. 
They are not required to start from their first year of undergraduate courses again. 

How will this reforms be implemented, 

Since education is an concurrent subject both the centre and the state governments can make laws on it. But
 the reforms proposed can only be implemented collaboratively by the central and state governments.
